About This Project
John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) is in the middle of a $2 billion mega-project to build a brand-new, 36-gate terminal. Set to open in early 2029, the modern facility will replace the aging 1958 structure, accommodating up to 13 million passengers annually with a centralized security checkpoint and a streamlined pedestrian bridge connected to a 5,000-car garage.
We worked alongside the specifying engineer and plumbing contractor on the grease interceptor install, sizing and placing equipment to match kitchens and concessions spread across a terminal built for scale.
Point-of-use interceptors were placed throughout the terminal wherever individual kitchens and concessions needed them, backing up the larger units with protection right at the source.
